PREAMBLE

An Act to amend Maharshi Panini Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, 2006.

Be it enacted by the Madhya Pradesh Legislature in the Sixty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:—

Section 1 - Short title

This Act may be called the Maharshi Panini Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2010.

Section 2 - Amendment of citation

In the citation of the Maharshi Panini Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya Adhiniyam, 2006 (No. 15 of 2008) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), after the word "Sanskrit", the words "Evam Vedic" shall be inserted.

Section 3 - Amendment of long title

In the long title of the Principal Act, after the word "Sanskrit", the words "Evam Vedic" shall be inserted.

Section 4 - Amendment of Section 1

In Section 1 of the Principal Act, after the word "Sanskrit", the words "Evam Vedic" shall be inserted.

Section 5 - Amendment of Section 2

In Section 2 of the Principal Act, in clause (h), after the word "Sanskrit", the words "Evam Vedic" shall be inserted.

Section 6 - Amendment of Section 3

In Section 3 of the principal Act,—

(i)       in the marginal heading, after the word "Sanskrit", the words "Evam Vedic" shall be inserted;

(ii)      In sub-section (1), after the word "Sanskrit", the words "Evam Vedic" shall be inserted.
