In exercise of the power conferred by the provision
of Articles-309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tripura is
pleased to modify rules as in the schedule hereto annexed for the uncommon post
of Helper Grade-II under the Water Resources(WR)/Drinking Water and Sanitation
(DWS) wing/wings of PWD. These rules may be called the "Recruitment
Rules for the post of Helper Grade-II under the Water Resources(WR)/drinking
Water and Sanitation (DWS) wing/wings of PWD - modified June, 2014." This will come into force from the date of
publication, This is in partial modification of the Recruitment
Rule for the post notified by the Deputy Secretary, PWD(WR) vide Notification
No. F.1 (28)-IFC (E)/79(S-I) dated 09/10/1996. Annexure Recruitment Rules for the uncommon post of Helper
Grade-II under the Department of PWD (WR) & PWD (DWS) Govt. of Tripura 1. Name of the post(s) : Helper Grade-II. 2. Number of post(s) : 850 (Eight hundred fifty) plus additional
post(s) as and when created. 3. Classification : Group-'D' (Non-Gazetted). 4. Scale of pay : PB No. 1 Pay Band Scale Rs.
4530-13000/- Grade Pay Rs. 1200/- change of scale and designation by
operation of ACP as per HOP, 2009, subject to revision by the Government from
time to time. 5. Whether selection post or non
selection post : Not applicable. 6. Age limit for direct recruitment : 18-40 years. Upper age limit is
relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST/PH candidates and government servants. 7. Educational and other qualification
required for direct recruitment : Class-VIII passed. Class-V passed in
case of ST/SC candidates. 8. Whether age and qualifications
prescribed for direct recruitment will apply in case of promotees : Not applicable. 9. Period of probation, if any : 2(two) Years. 10. Method or recruitment whether by
direct recruits or by transfer and percentage of the vacancies to be filled
