RAJASTHAN MINOR MINERAL CONCESSION (THIRD AMENDMENT) RULES, 2021

PREAMBLE

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (Central Act No. 67 of 1957), the State Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Rajasthan Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 2017, namely:-

Rule - 1. Short title and commencement.

(1)     These rules may be called the Rajasthan Minor Mineral Concession (Third Amendment) Rules, 2021

(2)     They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

Rule - 2. Amendment of rule 14.

In rule 14 of the Rajasthan Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 2017, hereinafter referred to as the said rules.-

(i)       in second proviso to clause (v) of sub-rule (8), for the existing expression "then the which bidder", the expression "then the such single bidder" shall be substituted; and

(ii)      in sub-rule (11), for the existing expression "further e-auction or auction", the expression "further e-auction" shall be substituted.

Rule - 3. Amendment of rule 17A.

In sub-rule (1) of rule 17A of the said rules, for the existing expression "granted to khatedaror", the expression "granted to khatedar or" shall be substituted.

Rule - 4. Amendment of Schedule II.

The existing Schedule II appended to the said rules shall be substituted by the following, namely:-
