Rajasthan Contractual Hiring To Civil Post (Amendment) Rules, 2024

PREAMBLE

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Rajasthan hereby makes the following rules, further to amend the Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Post Rules, 2022, namely;-

Rule 1. Short title and commencement.

(1)     These rules may be called the Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Post (Amendment) Rules, 2024.

(2)     They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

Rule 2. Amendment of rule 13.

The existing sub-rule (1) of rule 13 of the Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Post Rules, 2022 shall be substituted by the following, namely:-

"(1) The contractual employees appointed on the posts created under these rules shall be entitled for such lump-sum remuneration as may be fixed by the Administrative Department with the concurrence of the Finance Department. On completion of satisfactory service of every one year, the monthly lump-sum remuneration shall be increased by 5% rounded off to next hundred rupees. The annual increase in the monthly lump-sum remuneration shall be allowed either with effect from 1st January or 1st July, as the case may be. The date of annual increase shall be determined in the following manner, namely:-

(i)       the contractual employees who have completed six months or more service (excluding period of leave without remuneration) between 1st January to upcoming 3 Ist December, their date of annual increase in remuneration shall be 1st January;

(ii)      the contractual employees who have completed six months or more service (excluding period of leave without remuneration) between 1st July to upcoming 30th June, their date of annual increase in remuneration shall be 1st July; or

(iii)     the contractual employees who do not complete six months or more service on the above mentioned annual remuneration increase dates i.e. Ist January or 1SI July, as the case may be, due to leave without remuneration, such employees shall be eligible for annual increase in remuneration on completion of six months or more service on immediately upcoming 1st July or 1st January, as the case may be, and such date shall be his revised annual remuneration date."
