PRE-EMPTION (REPEAL) ACT, 1973 THE PUNJAB PRE-EMPTION (REPEAL) ACT, 1973 [Act No. 11 of 1973] [09th April, 1973] An Act to repeal the Punjab Pre-emption Act, 1913. Be it
enacted by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in the Twenty- Fourth Year of
the Republic of India as follows .-- This
Act may be called the Punjab Pre-emption (Repeal) Act, 1973. The
Punjab Pre-emption (Repeal) Act, 1973. On and
from the date of commence?ment of the Punjab Preemption (Repeal) Act, 1973. no
court shall pass a decree in any suit for pre-emption. The
Punjab Pre-emption (Repeal) Ordinance, 1973 (Punjab Ordinance No. 1 of 1973) is
hereby repealed.
