ORDER
UNDER ARTICLE 343 (RE: LANGUAGE)
PREAMBLE
In
exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to clause (2) of article 343 of
the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to authorise the use of the
Hindi language in addition to the English language, and of the Devnagari form
of numerals in addition to the international form of Indian numerals, for the
following official purposes of the Union namely, for warrants of appointments
of--
(i) Governors of States,
(ii) Judges of the Supreme
Court, and
(iii) Judges of the High
Court.
