MEGHALAYA DELEGATION OF FINANCIAL POWERS (AMENDMENT) RULES, 2019

PREAMBLE

In pursuance of clause (3) of Article 166 of the Constitution of India and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor of Meghalaya is pleased to order that the following amendment shall be made to Schedule IV of the Meghalaya Delegation of Financial Powers Rules, 2006 namely:-

Rule - 1. Short title and commencement.

(1)     These Rules may be called the Meghalaya Delegation of Financial Powers (Amendment) Rules, 2019.

(2)     They shall come into force from the date of notification in the Official Gazette.

Rule - 2. Revision of Financial Powers in respect of Estate Officer under General Administration (B) Department, Schedule IV of the Meghalaya Delegation of Financial Powers Rules, 2006.

After the existing Sl. No. 17 of Page 64 under General Administration (B) Department, the following entries shall be added as Sl. No. 18, namely, -

The rules as laid down for the Departmental construction of the public building (Appendix 9 of the Meghalaya Financial Rules) are strictly adhered to.
