THE MANIPUR HILL AREAS (HOUSE TAX) AMENDMENT ACT, 1975

[ Act 10 of 1975]

PREAMBLE

AN ACT to amend the Manipur Hill Areas (House Tax) Act, 1966.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of Manipur in the Twenty-sixth Years of the Republic of India as follows :--

Section 1 - Short title and Commencement

(1)     This Act may be called the Manipur Hill Areas (House Tax) Amendment Act, 1975.

 

(2)     It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Manipur Gazette, appoint.

Section 2 - Amendment of section 3

In sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Manipur Hill Areas (House Tax) Act, 1966(Manipur Act 9 of 1966), for the words "three rupees" occurring in the second line, the words "six rupees" shall be substituted.
