PREAMBLE
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 18 of
the Maharashtra Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, De-notified Tribes
(VimuktaJatis), Nomadic Tribes, Other Backward Classes and Special Backward
Category (Regulation of Issuance and Verification of) Caste Certificate Act,
2000 (Mah. XXIII of 2001) and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf,
the Government of Maharashtra hereby makes the following rules to amend the
Maharashtra Scheduled Tribes (Regulation of Issuance and Verification of)
Certificate Rules, 2003, the same having been previously published as required
by sub-section (1) of the said section 18 of the said Act, namely:
Rule - 1.
These rules may be
called the Maharashtra Scheduled Tribes (Regulation of Issuance and
Verification of) Certificate (Amendment) Rules, 2016.
Rule - 2.
For Form 'G' appended
to the Maharashtra Scheduled Tribes (Regulation of Issuance and Verification
of) Certificate Rules, 2003, the following Form shall be substituted, namely:
