In exercise of the powers conferred by clause
(b) of section 5 of the Maharashtra Police Act (XXII of 1951), and of all other
powers enabling it in that behalf, the Government of Maharashtra hereby makes
the following rules further to amend the Maharashtra Assistant Police
Sub-Inspector Driver, Police Head Constable Driver, Police Naik Driver and
Police Constable Driver (Recruitment) Rules, 2019, namely:-- These rules may be called the Maharashtra
Assistant Police Sub-Inspector Driver, Police Head Constable Driver, Police
Naik Driver and Police Constable Driver (Recruitment) (Second Amendment) Rules,
2022. In the rule 6 of the Maharashtra Assistant
Police Sub-Inspector Driver, Police Head Constable Driver, Police Naik Driver
and Police Constable Driver (Recruitment) Rules, 2019, in sub-rule (2) in
clause (A), after sub clause (d), the following sub - clauses shall be added,
namely:-- "(e) Candidate who apply to the post of Police
Constable Driver in the Gadchiroli District, shall require to appear in an
additional 100 marks written examination of Gondi and Madiya languages. (f) Only those candidates who are residing in
Gadchiroli District shall be eligible to participate in the Gadchiroli District
Police Constable Driver recruitment. The said candidates shall attach the
residential certificate issued by the concerned Tahsildar as per prevailing
rules. (g) These candidates shall not be entitled to
transfer outside the Gadchiroli District".MAHARASHTRA
