805/Seva-5.- In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309
of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Maharashtra is hereby pleased to
make the following rules to Lab technician or Laboratory Scientific Officer
Group-C (Circle level) in the Commissionerate of Health Services under the
Public Health Department of the Government of Maharashtra (Recruitment) Rules,
2021, as follows, namely These
rules may be called the Lab technician or Laboratory Scientific Officer Group-C
(Circle level) in the Commissionerate of Health Services under the Public
Health Department of the Government of Maharashtra (Recruitment) (Amendment)
Rules, 2023. In
Rule No. 3 of Lab technician or Laboratory Scientific Officer Group-C in the
Commissionerate of Health Services under the Public Health Department of the
Government of Maharashtra (Recruitment) Rules, 2021 (hereinafter referred to as
"the principle Rules"), after clause (1) of the following proviso
shall be inserted namely, "
By promotion of a suitable person on the basis of seniority subject to fitness
from amongst the persons having minimum ten years regular service on the post
of Lab Assistant and holding Secondary School Certificate Examination in
Science with Physics or Chemistry or Biology, shall be made eligible for
promotion for five years from the date of publication of these Rules ".Lab
