PREAMBLE

In exercise of powers conferred by sub-sections (3) and 3 (A) of Section 12 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974, the Kerala State Pollution Control Board, hereby make the following rules further to amend the Kerala State Pollution Control Board Recruitment Rules (State and Subordinate Service) issued by Notification No. PCB/E1/1448/16 dated Thiruvananthapuram 11th January, 2021 and published as Kerala Gazette extraordinary No. 167 dated 2021, January 18, namely:

Rule - 1. Short title and commencement.

(1)     These Rules may be called the Kerala State Pollution Control Board Recruitment Rules (State and Subordinate Service) (Amendment) Rules, 2021.

(2)     It shall come into force at once.

Rule - 2. Amendment of the Rules.

In the Kerala State Pollution Control Board Recruitment Rules (State and Subordinate Service) 2021, in Kerala State Pollution Control Board State Service Rules, the entries in Item (2), in Column. No. (4) against Assistant Engineer (Sl. No. 5), shall be omitted.
