In exercise of the powers
conferred by Section 20 of the Kerala State Commission for Economically
Backward Classes among Forward Communities Act, 2015 (2 of 2016), the
Government of Kerala hereby make the following rules to amend the Kerala State
Commission for Economically Backward Classes among Forward Communities Rules,
2018 issued under G. O. (P) No. 2/2018/GAD dated 28th February, 2018 and
published as S.R.O. No. 127/2018 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No. 546
dated 5th March, 2018, namely: (1)
These rules may be called the Kerala State Commission for
Economically Backward Classes among Forward Communities (Amendment) Rules,
2021. (2)
They shall come into force at once. In the Kerala State Commission
for Economically Backward Classes among Forward Communities Rules, 2018, (1)
in Rule 11, (i)
for the words and symbol Tahsildar/Village Officer" the words
"officer Concerned" shall be substituted; (ii)
the following Explanation shall be inserted, namely: "Explanation. For the purpose of this rule, in
the case of issuing Forward Community Certificate for State purpose Officer Concerned
shall be the Village Officer and in the case of issuing Forward Community
Certificate for outside State purpose Officer Concerned shall be the
Tahasildar"; (2)
in Form I, for the words and symbol Tahsildar/Village
Officer" the words "Officer Concerned" shall be substituted.KERALA
