In exercise of the powers conferred by the second proviso to sub-section
(2) of Section 3 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act
14 of 1990), the Government of Karnataka hereby makes the following rules
further to amend the Karnataka Forest Department Services (Recruitment) Rules,
2003, namely.-- (1)
These rules
may be called the Karnataka Forest Department Services (Recruitment)
(Amendment) Rules, 2016. (2)
They shall
come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. In the Karnataka Forest Department Services (Recruitment) Rules, 2003,
in Schedule I, for the category of posts of "Superintendent", at
Serial Number (46), "First Division Assistant", at Serial Number
(47), "Stenographer" at Serial Number (48) and "Second Division
Assistant", at Serial Number (50) entries relating thereto the following
