INDIAN ORDNANCE FACTORIES SERVICES (GROUP-A) RECRUITMENT (AMENDMENT) RULES, 2019

PREAMBLE

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Ordnance Factories Services (Group-A) Recruitment Rules, 2002, namely :-


Rule 1 - RULE 1

(1) These rules may be called the Indian Ordnance Factories Services (Group-A) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2019.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.


Rule 2 - RULE 2

In the Indian Ordnance Factories Services (Group-A) Recruitment Rules, 2002, -

(a) in Schedule-I, for column (4) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be respectively substituted against serial numbers 1 to 8, namely:-

"Level in pay matrix or pay scale

Level-17 in the pay matrix

(Rs. 2,25,000) (Fixed)

Level-16 in the pay matrix

(Rs. 2,05,400 - Rs. 2,24,400)

Level-15 in the pay matrix

(Rs. 1,82,200 - Rs. 2,24,100)

Level-14 in the pay matrix

(Rs. 1,44,200 - Rs. 2,18,200)

Level-13 in the pay matrix

(Rs. 1,23,100 - Rs. 2,15,900)

Level-12 in the pay matrix

(Rs. 78,800 - Rs. 2,09,200)

Level-11 in the pay matrix

(Rs. 67,700 - Rs. 2,08,700)

Level-10 in the pay matrix

(Rs. 56,100 - Rs. 1, 77,500).";

(b) in Schedule-II, for columns (2) and (4) and the entries relating thereto against serial numbers 1 to 8, the following shall be substituted, namely :-

Name of the Post or Grade or Time Scale.

Field of selection and the minimum qualifying service for promotion.

"Junior Time Scale Assistant Director or Assistant Works Manager or equivalent in level - 10 in the pay matrix (Rs. 56100 - 177500).

1. Junior Works Manager (Technical) with three years regular service in level - 7 in the pay matrix (Rs. 44900-142400).

2. Junior Works Manager (Non-Technical or Stores) with three years regular service in level - 7 in the pay matrix (Rs. 44900 - 142400).

Senior Time Scale Deputy Director or Works Manager or equivalent in level - 11 in the pay matrix (Rs. 67700 - 208700).

Officers in the Junior Time Scale in level - 10 in the pay matrix (Rs. 56100 - 177500) with four years regular service in the grade.

Senior Time Scale (Non-Functional) Joint Director or Deputy General Manager or equivalent in level - 12 in the pay matrix (Rs. 78800 - 209200).

Officers in the Senior Time Scale in level - 11 in the pay matrix (Rs. 67700 - 208700) with five years regular service in the grade.

Junior Administrative Grade (Functional) Director or Joint General Manager or equivalent in level - 13 in the pay matrix (Rs. 123100 - 215900).

Officers with thirteen years of regular service in Group-A and regular service of four years in the grade of Senior Time Scale and equivalent including the service rendered in the Senior Time Scale (Non-functional) or nine years of regular service in the grade of Senior Time Scale and equivalent including regular service, if any, rendered in the Senior Time Scale (Non-functional) and equivalent in level - 12 in the pay matrix (Rs. 78800 - 209200).

Senior Administrative Grade Deputy Director General or General Manager or Additional General Manager or equivalent in level - 14 in the pay matrix (Rs. 144200 - 218200).

Officers in the Junior Administrative Grade level - 13 in the pay matrix (Rs. 123100 - 215900) with three years regular service in the grade.

Senior General Manager or Senior Deputy Director General or equivalent in level - 15 in the pay matrix (Rs. 182200 - 224100).

Officers of the Senior Administrative Grade in level - 14 in the pay matrix (Rs. 144200 - 218200) with three years of regular service in the grade.

Additional Director General of Ordnance Factories and Member, Ordnance Factory Board, level - 16 in the pay matrix (Rs. 205400 - 224400).

Officers in level - 15 in the pay matrix (Rs. 182200 - 224100) with one year regular service in the grade failing which officers in level - 15 in the pay matrix (Rs. 182200 - 224100) with four years combined regular service in level - 15 in the pay matrix (Rs. 182200 - 224100) and Senior Administrative Grade in level - 14 in the pay matrix (Rs. 144200 - 218200).

Director General of Ordnance Factories and Chairman, Ordnance Factory Board, level - 17 in the pay matrix (Rs. 225000) (Fixed).

Additional Director General and Member in level - 16 in the pay matrix (Rs. 205400 - 224400) with one year regular service in the grade failing which Additional Director General and Member with two years combined regular service as Senior General Manager or Senior Deputy Director General in level - 15 in the pay matrix (Rs. 182200 - 224100) and as Additional Director General and Member in level - 16 in the pay matrix (Rs. 205400 - 224400).".
