THE INDIAN EASEMENTS (PUNJAB EXTENSION) ACT, 1961

[Act No. 29 of 1961]

[ 12th October, 1961].

PREAMBLE

An Act to extend the Indian Easements Act, 1882, to the State of Punjab. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in the Twelfth- ear of the Republic of India as follow :-

 

Section 1 - Short title

This Act may be called the Indian Easements (Punjab Extension) Act, 1961.

 

Section 2 - Extension of the Indian Easements Act, 1882, to the State of Punjab

The Indian Easements Act, 1882, is hereby extended to the State of Punjab.

 

Section 3 - Repeal

The Patiala Easements Act, 2002 BK (Pepsu Act No. XVI of 2002 BK), is hereby repealed :

Provided that anything done or any action taken under,the Act hereby repealed shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of the Indian Easements Act, 1882.
