PREAMBLE

The Governor, Himachal Pradesh, in exercise of the powers conferred under proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, is pleased to make the following rules further to amend the Himachal Pradesh, State Forensic Science Laboratory, Home Department, Assistant Director (Chemistry & Toxicology), Class-I (Gazetted) Recruitment & Promotion Rules, 2007 notified vide this department Notification No. Home-C(A)3-7/2006-III dated 01-09-2007, namely:-

Rule 1. Short title and commencement.

(1)     These Rules may be called the Himachal Pradesh, State Forensic Science Laboratory, Home Department, Assistant Director (Chemistry & Toxicology), Class-I (Gazetted) Recruitment & Promotion (First Amendment) Rules, 2025.

(2)     These rules shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Rajpatra (e-Gazette), Himachal Pradesh.

Rule 2. Amendment of Annexure.

In Annexure-"A" of the said rules the words "or equivalent" in clause (I) of Column No. 7, shall be deleted.
