THE HARYANA PANCHAYATI RAJ (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2017

PREAMBLE

An Act further to amend the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Sixty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows :-

Section 1 - Short title

This Act may be called the Haryana Panchayati Raj (Amendment) Act, 2017

Section 2 - Amendment of section 24 of Haryana

For sub-section (3) of section 24 of the Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 ( Act 11of 1994), the following Amendment of sub-section shall be substituted, namely:--

"(3) No. person shall dig, alter or damage any street, pavement or drain in a Act 11 of 1994 village in any manner, for any purpose without prior permission of such authority and subject to such terms and conditions, as may be prescribed.".
