16/02/2022-2IB-II.- In exercise of the powers conferred under the proviso to
article 309 of the constitution of India, the Governor of Haryana hereby makes
the following rules further to amend the Haryana Mines and Geology Department,
(Group C) Headquarters Rules,1998, namely:-
Rule - 1.
These rules may be
called the Haryana Mines and Geology Department, (Group C) Headquarters
(Amendment) Rules, 2022.
Rule - 2.
In the Haryana Mines and Geology Department, (Group C) Headquarter Rules, 1998
(hereinafter called the said rules), in rule 5, for the figures "17"
and "35" , the words and sign "eighteen" and "forty -
two" shall respectively be substituted.
Rule - 3.
In the said rules, in rule 9, in sub-rule (1),-
(i)
for clause (V), the
following clause shall be substituted, namely:-
"(V)
In the case of Legal Assistant-
(i)
by direct recruitment; or
(ii)
by transfer or deputation of
an official already in the service of any State Government or the Government of
India;";
(ii)
clauses (VI) to (VIII) shall
be omitted;
(iii)
for clause (XII), the
following clause shall be substituted, namely:-
"(XII)
In the case of Draftsman-
(i)
by direct recruitment; or
(ii)
by transfer or deputation of
an official already in the service of any State Government or the Government of
India;";
(iv)
clause (XIII) and (XIV)
shall be omitted;
(v)
clause (XVI) shall be
omitted;
(vi)
clause (XVIII) and (XIX)
shall be omitted;
(vii)
clause (XXII) to (XXIX)
shall be omitted.
Rule - 4.
In the said rules, in rule 14,-
(i)
in sub-rule (1), for the
words, brackets, sign and figure "Haryana Civil Services (Punishment &
Appeal) Rules, 1987", the words, brackets, sign and figure "Haryana
Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 2016" shall be substituted;
and
(ii)
in sub-rule (2), for the
words, brackets, sign and figure "clause (c) or clause (d) of sub-rule (1)
of rule 9 of the Haryana Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules,
1987", the words, brackets, sign and figure "clause (c) or clause (d)
of rule 9 of the Haryana Civil Services (Punishment and Appeal) Rules,
2016" shall be substituted.
Rule - 5.
In the said rules, for Appendix A, the following Appendix shall be substituted,
namely:-

Rule - 6.
In the said rules, in Appendix B, under columns 1, 2, 3 and 4, -
(i)
for the words,
"Knowledge of Hindi upto Matric standard" wherever occurring, the
words "Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subject in Matric or Higher
Education" shall be substituted;
(ii)
for serial number 3, 4 and 5
and entries existing thereagainst, the following serial numbers and entries
thereagainst shall be substituted, namely:-

subject in Matric or Higher Education.

Senior Draftsman

By promotion
Five years experience as Draftsman.
By transfer or deputation-
(i) Three years degree course in
Architecture from a recognized university or institution or three years
diploma in Architectural Assistantship or Diploma Certificate in Civil
Draftsmanship or equivalent qualification as specified by the Government at
the time of recruitment;
(ii) Six years experience in drawing
or mapping related work as Senior Draftsman; and
(iii) Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the
subject in Matric or Higher Education.

Legal Assistant
|
(i) Law Graduate from any recognized
university;
(ii) One year experience in private
or Government organization after degree in Law; and
(iii) Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the
subject in Matric or Higher Education.
|
By transfer or deputation-
(i) Law Graduate from any recognized
university;
(ii) One year experience as legal
Assistant; and
(iii) Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the
subject in Matric or Higher Education.’’;

(iv)
