PREAMBLE

AN ACT further to amend Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology Hisar Act, 1995.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Sixty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

Section 1 - Short title

This Act may be called Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology Hisar (Amendment) Act, 2010.

Section 2 - Amendment of section 11 of Haryana Act 17 of 1997

In the proviso to sub-section (2) of section 11 of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology Hisar Act, 1995, for the figure "65", the figure "68" shall be substituted.

Section 3 - Repeal and saving

(1)     Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology Hisar (Amendment) Ordinance, 2010 (Haryana Ordinance No.8 of 2010), is hereby repealed.

 

(2)     Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the Principal Act, as amended by the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the principal Act, as amended by this Act.
