September 2022] AN ACT further to amend the
Gujarat National Law University Act, 2003. It is hereby enacted in the
Seventy-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:- (1)
This Act may be called the Gujarat National
Law University (Amendment) Act, 2022. (2)
It shall come into force on such date as the
State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. "Provided that the
General Council may, from time to time, through resolution establish additional
campus at such place within or outside the State of Gujarat under the control
of the University. The General Council shall have all the powers to govern,
administer and manage such additional campus so established as per the provisions
of this Act.".Gujarat

In the Gujarat National Law University Act, 2003, in section 3, to sub-section
(1), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:-
