THE GUJARAT MUNICIPALITIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1970

PREAMBLE

An Act further to amend the Gujarat Municipalities Act, 1963.

It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:?

Section 1 - Short title

This Act may be called the Gujarat Municipalities (Amendment) Act, 1970.

Section 2 - Amendment of section 6 of Guj. 34 of 1964

In section 6 of the Gujarat Municipalities Act, 1963 (Guj. 34 of 1964), in sub-section (4), for the words "twenty years" the words "thirty years" shall be, and shall be deemed always to have been, substituted.
