Directorate Of Estates, Regional Office, Chennai (Group C Posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules to amend the Directorate of Estates, Regional Office, Chennai (Group-C Posts) Recruitment Rules, 2001, namely:-

Rule - 1.

(1)     These rules may be called the Directorate of Estates, Regional Office, Chennai (Group C Posts) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2023.

(2)     They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

Rule - 2.

In the Directorate of Estates, Regional Office, Chennai (Group-C Posts), Recruitment Rules 2001 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), for rule 3, following rule shall be substituted, namely:-

"3.   Number of posts, classification and level in the pay matrix.- The number of posts, their classification and level in pay matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule".

Rule - 3.

In the said rules, in the Schedule,-

(a)      against serial number 1, relating to the post of Upper Division Clerk, in column (4), for the existing column heading and entries relating thereto, the following column heading and entry shall be substituted, namely:-
