Consumer Protection (Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions) Amendment Rules, 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred by
sub-section (1) and clauses (q) and (zj) of sub-section
(2) of section 101 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (35 of 2019), the
Central Government hereby makes the following
rules to amend the Consumer
Protection (Consumer Disputes
Redressal Commissions) Rules, 2020, namely:-
Rule 1.
(1) These rules may be
called the Consumer Protection (Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions) Amendment Rules, 2022.
(2) They shall
come into force on the date of their publication in the Official
Gazette.
Rule 2.
In the Consumer Protection (Consumer Disputes
Redressal Commissions) Rules, 2020, in rule 7, in sub-rule (2), for the Table, the following Table shall be substituted,
