PREAMBLE

An Act to amend the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operation) Act, 2005.

Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Fifty-seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows: --

Section 1 - Short title and commencement

(1)     This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operation) (Amendment) Act, 2006.

 

(2)     It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

Section 2 - Definition

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,--

"Principal Act" means Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment And Operation) Act, 2005 (No. 13 of 2005).

Section 3 - Amendment of Schedule

In Schedule in the Principal Act, the following shall be inserted, namely: --
