PREAMBLE

An Act Further To Amend The Andhra Pradesh Universities Act, 1991.

Be, it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Andhra Pradesh in the Fifty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows:

Section 1 - Short title and commencement

(1)     This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Universities (Amendment) Act, 2007.

 

(2)     It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 13th March, 2007.

Section 2 - Amendment of Schedule, Act 4 of 1991

In the Andhra Pradesh Universities Act, 1991, in the Schedule, in the table:-

(1)     Against serial No. 5 in column (3), item "4" shall be omitted.

 

(2)     After serial No. 9, the following entries shall be added in columns (1), (2), (3) and (4) respectively, namely.
