AD HOC RULES RELATING TO TEMPORARY POST OF REGIONAL REHABILITATION OFFICER, SPECIAL OFFICER (BUNK STALL) & SUPERINTENDENT, SHELTERED WORKSHOP FOR THE BLIND - AMENDMENTS¹

PREAMBLE

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to the Rules published with the Social Welfare Department Notification No. SRO B-267 of 1987, dated the 24th July 1987, published at pages 340 to 348 in Part III?Section 1(b) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 12th August 1987:?

2. The amendments hereby made shall be deemed to have come into force on the 15th March 1993.

AMENDMENTS

In the said Rules ?

(1) In the preamble, in the TABLE under paragraph 2, the entries "10 Regional Rehabilitation Officer", "16 Special Officer (Bunk Stall)" and "19 Superintendent, Sheltered Workshop for Blind" in column (1) and the corresponding entries in column (2) thereof, shall be omitted;

(2) in Rule 1 ?

(a) under the heading "(2) Assistant Directors", the entry "(xii) Regional Rehabilitation Officers and" shall be omitted;

(b) in clause (3), the entries "(ii) Special Officer (Bunk Stall)" and "(iv) Superintendent, Sheltered Workshop for the Blind," shall be omitted;

(3) in Rule 3, in the TABLE ?

(a) in column (2) against the post "Deputy Director" in column (1), the expression "or Rehabilitation Officer," shall be omitted;

(b) in column (2) against the post "2 Assistant Director, District Social Welfare Officer, District Project Nutrition Officer, Programme Officer" in column (1) the expression "or Superintendent, Sheltered Workshop for the Blind" shall be omitted;

(c) The post 3(2) "Superintendent, Sheltered Workshop for the Blind" in column (1) and the entries relating thereto in column (2) thereof shall be omitted;

(4) in Rule 4,?

(a) in sub-rule (a), the expression "Regional Rehabilitation Officers, Special Officer (Bunk Stall) and Superintendent, Sheltered Workshop for the Blind" shall be omitted;

(b) in sub-rule (b) in the TABLE,?

(i) in serial number 1, the expression "Regional Rehabilitation Officers including" in column (1) shall be omitted;

(ii) in serial number 2, the post "Special Officer (Bunk Stall)," in column (1) shall be omitted;

(iii) in serial number 3, the post "Superintendent, Sheltered Workshop for the Blind," in column (1) and the corresponding entries in columns (2) and (3) thereof shall be omitted;

(5) in Rule 6, the expression "Superintendent, Sheltered Workshop for the Blind" shall be omitted;

(6) in Rule 10 ?

(a) under the heading "2 Assistant Directors", the post "(xii) Regional Rehabilitation Officers" shall be omitted;

(b) in clause 3, for the items "(i) Child Development Project Officer, (ii) Taluk Project Nutrition Officer; (iii) Special Officer (Bunk Stall) and (iv) Superintendent, Sheltered Workshop for the Blind", the items; "(i) Child Development Project Officer and (ii) Taluk Project Nutrition Officers " shall be substituted;

(7) in Rule 11-

(a) under the TABLE,?

(i) in serial number 2, the post "Regional Rehabilitation Officers" in column (1) shall be omitted;

(ii) in serial number 3, the posts "Special Officer (Bunk Stall), Superintendent, Sheltered Workshop for the Blind" in column (1) shall be omitted;

(b) in the TABLE under the first proviso,?

(i) in serial number 2, the post "Regional Rehabilitation Officers" in column (1) shall be omitted;

(ii) in serial number 3, the posts "Special Officer (Bunk Stall) and Superintendent, Sheltered Workshop for the Blind", in column (1) shall be omitted.
