ANOOP CHITKARA, J.
1. Fearing for life and liberty at the hands of the private respondents, the petitioner, invoking the fundamental right of life guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution of India, has come up before this Court seeking protection through the State.
2. Notices served upon the official respondents through the State's counsel. Given the nature of the order that this Court proposes to pass, neither the response of official respondents nor the issuance of notices to the private respondents is required.
3. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if a time bound direction is issued to Superintendent of Police, Yamunanagar, respondent no.2, to decide the representation dated 03.02.2022 (Annexure P-1), which is pending with him.
4. Given above, the prayer is innocuous. As such, the petition is disposed of with a direction to Superintendent of Police, Yamunanagar, respondent no.2, to decide the representation (Annexure P-1) within three weeks from today.
5. In case of any unaddressed grievance, it shall be open for the petitioner to approach this Court again in accordance with law. However, it is clarified that this order is not a blanket bail for any other matter whatsoever.
6. There would be no need for a certified copy of this order for presenting the same before the concerned authority, and any Advocate for the Petitioner can download this order along with case status from the official web page of this Court and attest it to be a true copy. In case the concerned authority wants to verify the authenticity of this order, it may also download and use the downloaded copy for passing appropriate order in accordance with law.
