1. Heard the counsel for the petitioner.

2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for a direction directing the Ist Additional District Judge, Kanpur Nagar to decide Misc. Civil Appeal No. 34 of 2020 pending in the court of Ist Additional District Judge, Kanpur Nagar.

3. The Ist Additional District Judge, Kanpur Nagar is directed to decide the aforesaid appeal, if still pending, expeditiously, preferably within a period of one year from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him, in case, there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid appeal.

4. It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioner.

5. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
