1. Present petition has been filed seeking a writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus for the release of the alleged detenues, the details of whom have been given in paragraph 4 of the petition, from custody of respondents No. 4 and 5.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the detenues, whose details have been given in paragraph 4 of the petition, are being treated as bonded labour, which is against the law and therefore, these detenues need to be got released from the unlawful custody of respondents No. 4 and 5.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner will be satisfied, in case, a direction is issued to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur (Punjab)-respondent No.3 to look into the grievance of the petitioner and take appropriate action.

5. Mr. Ramdeep Partap Singh, learned Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, keeping in view the service of advance copy of petition, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents No.1 to 3.

Learned counsel for respondents No.1 to 3 submits that the present petition has been filed without approaching the Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur (Punjab)-respondent No.3 in any manner and therefore, if the petitioner has any grievance, he should approach the Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur with the said grievance by filing appropriate representation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will file appropriate representation before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur (Punjab)-respondent No.3 raising the grievance as raised in the present petition and the Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur (Punjab)-respondent No.3 be directed to decide the same by passing an appropriate speaking order expeditiously in a time bound manner.

8. Learned counsel for the respondents No.1 to 3 submits that in case, any representation is received from the petitioner, the same will be decided within a period of two weeks from the receipt of the same by passing an appropriate speaking order.

In view of the above, without going into the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Sangrur (Punjab) to decide the representation, if any, made by the petitioner, after conducting due enquiry, by passing an appropriate speaking order within a period of two weeks from the receipt of the same.
