1. Prayer in the present writ petition, filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for quashing of the show cause notice dated 22.03.2021 (Annexure P-7) circulated vide letter dated 24.03.2021.

2. A perusal of the said order would go on to show that the petitioners have been asked to explain why the entire excess amount wrongly drawn by them from 01.04.2011 to which they are not entitled, should not be recovered from them. Resultantly, reply was asked for within 15 days by the District Education Officer. The same has not been placed on record by the counsel.

3. It is settled principle that show cause notice is not liable to be entertained by this Court, being premature. It is always open to the petitioners to file a reply to the said show cause notice and justify their stand.

4. In such circumstances, this Court is of the opinion that the present writ petition is not liable to entertained, being premature and the same is disposed of, with liberty to file reply. It is expected that the concerned respondent shall take into account the said reply filed by the petitioners and pass necessary orders, in accordance with law.

5. Disposed of, with the aforesaid liberty.
