1. This petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is filed seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 11, dated 14th January, 2014, under Sections 409, 420, 201, 120-B read with Section 34 IPC and Section 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, registered at Police Station Murthal, District Sonipat.

2. Learned State counsel, on instructions from Jagshyam, submits that petitioner was served with the notices, in pursuance thereto, he joined investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required.

3. In view of statement made, petitioner is granted anticipatory bail. In the event of his arrest, he shall be released on bail subject to furnishing adequate bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer. He is directed to join the investigation as and when called for. He shall abide by the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

4. The petition is allowed.

5. In case of failure of petitioner to join the investigation, the State would be at liberty to file an application for re-calling of this order.
