1. Present petition has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of bail pending trial to the petitioner in FIR No.73 dated 13.07.2020, under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Rori, District Sirsa.

2. There is no assistance on behalf of the petitioner. On 21.11.2023 also, none came forward to argue the matter on his behalf.

3. Learned State counsel, on instructions, has apprised the Court that out of 17 prosecution witnesses, 06 have already been examined; and trial is now pending for 30.01.2024.

4. In view of the above, present petition is disposed off with the observation that learned trial Court shall proceed in the matter expeditiously, without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties and progress report be sent to the Registry by 30.04.2024.

5. Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed off.
